For those with a passion for hiking and mountain biking, the morphology of the territory of Malcesine offers several routes to satisfy all tastes and physical condition.
Whilst the lakeside boasts a quiet foot and cycle path more than ten kilometers long, with information panels en route, there is also a wide variety of excursions, with stunning lake views, on trails and old mule tracks, which connect the small town to the mountain.
There are routes for both novices and those at an intermediate level which culminate at the altitude of San Michele (approximately 600 meters above sea level), as well as a choice of more challenging paths that reach the summit of Monte Baldo, known as the "botanical garden of Europe".
Last but not least, downhill fans can take advantage of spectacular descents, towards the lake or Valdadige, thanks to the modern cable car which reaches a height of 1780 meters within a matter of minutes
